PixFinancer

A personal finance automation tool

You send a photo of the receipt on Telegram and the app records the expense in a database. No spreadsheet.

The analysis screen with the month’s total, the number of expenses, a chart by month and spending by merchant. The names are hidden.

The problem

Anyone who pays for everything with Pix ends up with dozens of loose receipts on the phone. Moving them into a spreadsheet is slow and full of mistakes.

What I built

It works like this: you send a photo of the purchase receipt to a Telegram group and the app records the expense in a database, with no spreadsheet. It then shows the image beside the data it read, for you to check, correct and approve.

Automatic reading
The text of each receipt is recognised on the computer itself.
Side by side review
Image on one side, values on the other, with a warning when something looks wrong.
Categories
Each expense gets a coloured category that is easy to recognise.
Analysis
Totals by month, category and merchant, with export to Excel.
Telegram commands
The group answers commands in Portuguese, such as !balanço and !pendentes.

Technology

Electron, React, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, SQLite
